What XIRA Is

XIRA is a free AI compliance scanning tool and regulatory intelligence platform. We help companies understand which AI regulations may apply to them based on where they operate, what AI tools they use, and how they use them. The goal is to make the landscape easier to navigate so you can decide what to research next with your own team and counsel.

What XIRA Is Not

This section matters. XIRA does not provide legal advice. We are not a law firm, and we are not a substitute for legal counsel.

Scan results are informational and educational. They are not legal determinations about what applies to you or what you must do.

Regulation summaries on the site are simplified for readability. They may not capture every nuance of the underlying statute or rule.

Before you make compliance decisions based on scan results or anything you read here, talk to qualified legal counsel who can review your facts.

Using the Scanner

• The scanner is free to use.
• You do not need to create an account to run a scan.
• Providing your email is optional, but we need it if you want the PDF report delivered to your inbox.
• Scan results come from a pre-classified regulation database. We are not running an AI review of your specific legal situation to produce the match list.
• Results may over-include regulations on purpose. We would rather flag something that might apply than miss something that does.

Accuracy and Limitations

• We work to keep the regulation database accurate and current.
• Regulations change. Effective dates move. Laws get amended or repealed. We update the database regularly, but we cannot promise real-time accuracy for every entry.
• Each regulation page links to official source text when available. Please verify important details against primary sources.
• Risk weights, penalty summaries, and obligation descriptions reflect our reading of the law. Another lawyer or regulator might read the same text differently.

Intellectual Property

• The XIRA name, logo, and site design are ours.
• The regulation database structure, classification approach, and matching logic are proprietary.
• The underlying regulatory text is public law. It does not belong to us.
• You may share your scan results freely.

Your Content

Anything you enter through the scanner (email, company profile, scan selections) is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of information you provide.

Limitation of Liability

XIRA gives you information to think with, not legal advice. We are not responsible for compliance choices you or your company make after using the scanner.

If the database contains an error or an outdated entry, we are sorry, and we work to fix those issues. Even so, we are not on the hook for losses tied to those mistakes.

The scanner is provided as-is. We do not warrant that results are complete, error free, or fit for any particular purpose.

If you ever had a legal claim against us related to this free service, our total liability would be limited to the amount you paid us for that use. For the free scanner today, that amount is zero dollars.

Changes to These Terms

• We may update these terms as the product grows.
• The effective date under the title at the top shows the latest revision.
• If you keep using the site after we post changes, that means you accept them.

Governing Law

These terms follow the laws of the State of Colorado.
